Hi,
Utility to easily rename a couple of file in the same directory using filename pattern (filename contains of some substring).
For example is you want to rename all files with prefix “Copy ” after drag-and-drop images from iPhoto to the Desktop (i.e. remove “Copy ” prefix from all filenames).

I need to do the same thing, but with folders instead of files. If I want to rename all folders that start with a phrase, such as “eBook -” and replace it or delete the phrase, can it do it for folders without touching the files?
Not now, but we will do it in the next version (in a few days)
That will be great!! Thanks!
So it’s done, waiting for Apple’s approval now
welcome
Is there a wilcard character I can use? I want to delete everything with () and inside the parenthesis. I tried using (*) and replacing it with none, but that didn’t work.
Jo, regexes are not allowed
Nice, neat program. One small suggestion. I would like to be able to paste from the clipboard text buffer into the “Filename contains:” and “Replace with:” fields. Sometimes it’s a lengthy piece of text that I can more easily copy and paste than retype.
I also would like to be able to paste strings of text in the “Filename contains:” and “Replace with:” fields. This is especially useful for long strings of text in a foreign language.
Thanks for making a great utility at an unbeatable price!
Maybe a suggestion to allow case-sensitive renaming. Today, I can’t rename JPG to jpg. I hade to rename JPG to jpeg and then rename jpeg to jpg. It would be nice to have that feature.
Thanks. Спасибо.

The program is great, but I want it to select the checkbox appeared ‘subfolders’. This is very useful for renaming large catalogs of photos
